If you are going to Alberta for mountains, this hotel is 45 minutes to an hour away, and it's located in an industrial area. The staff, rooms and breakfast make up for that. All were fabulous. The hotel is not too far from the airport and close to the highway, which made it very easy to access.
The staff at this hotel took such great care of our hockey team. The reception was quick, warm and welcoming. The two ladies in the breakfast room were very helpful and courteous each morning. Met with a young man working maintenance in the elevator that took the time to ask how our experience was. Also the gentleman working front desk overnight with long hair provided great hospitality. Breakfast was decent. Good selection. Rooms are spacious and clean with great amenities. Overall a really great stay for our team but the service was definitely what made it just that much better!
We’ve stayed here twice while passing through. Anna at the front desk is so lovely and helpful. It’s clean and quiet and the breakfast is so good! Definitely our go-to hotel now to avoid Calgary. haha
Pretty decent hotel overall except the water pressure in the shower is dismal. Also, strange barn door over the bathroom. When that door is open, the closet is closed, when closet is open, the bathroom is closed. Just put in a swing door into the bathroom, please. Also, those barn doors offer minimal privacy.
Absolutely amazing stay at this hotel with the best customer care I could have asked for. Anna and Charlene went above and beyond to make my family's stay a 5 star experience and we can't wait to visit Airdrie again. Thank you Anna and Charlene!
We stayed at the Fairfield during our trip to Calgary and our experience was fantastic. I would absolutely stay here again. The hotel is out of the way and quiet but close enough to the highway that Calgary and the surrounding areas are very accessible. The rooms and facilities were very clean. The continental breakfast was fantastic and the coffee was delicious which is a welcome surprise. I came to Calgary for a vacation with my husband and had a lovely time, but the Fairfield is also family and pet friendly without impacting my stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The in room jacuzzi was clean and so worth it. There is also a lovely walking trail just outside of the hotel.
Very nice newer hotel. Fun welcome in room. Never seen decorated towels at a Marriott property out of the over 200 I've stayed at in 25+ countries.
The entire staff was friendly, helpful, clean, efficient and pleasant to be around. I love staying at Marriott facilities, they have the greatest staff no matter where in the world you stay.
